Henry Tucker Foundation
Want to get involved? Check out what we've been doing during the past few months and learn how you can help us make a real difference in the lives of families coping with childhood cancer. Our efforts range from hosting benefits and fundraisers (e.g. ragball tourney, Austin's Big Nite) to promoting music therapy, and lobbying for social change (see "Team Unite" and how we helped pass the Conquer Childhood Cancer Act of 2007).

It's easy and fun to get involved. Contact HTF to find out how to be a volunteer. Volunteering with HTF events is a great way to get the whole family involved. Waffles for Wiis was founded by kids to help kids and is a fun way to teach your kids about giving back. If you can write a letter, pick up a phone, toss a ragball, eat, drink, and/or be merry, there's something for you to do as an HTF volunteer. We look forward to you joining our team!

Music Matters
Music was a huge part of Henry’s life. He especially loved music therapy during his time in the hospital. Playing music gave him inner-strength and helped him thrive during a bone marrow transplant. A bone marrow transplant can keep a family in the hospital for at least 100 days, but music therapy has been proven to benefit many kids, physically, emotionally, and socially, during prolonged hospital stays.

Please consider ways in which you can help provide music to kids like Henry. HTF will dedicate funds and instruments to music therapy programs nationwide to ensure each child has access to the benefits of music therapy while they remain in the hospital.

If you would like to be a sponsor or a part of Henry's Music Matters program, please email: musicmatters@henrytuckerfoundation.org
